Moses said, "My Lord! open up my heart, 25 "And ease my task for me; 26 and loosen the knot from my tongue 27 that they may understand my words. 28 And appoint for me a minister from my household. 29 "Aaron, my brother; 30 Strengthen by him my back. 31 and let him share my task, 32 so that [together] we might abundantly extol Thy limitless glory 33 and remember Thee abundantly. 34 Indeed, You are of us ever Seeing." 35 He said: "Moses, your petition is granted. 36 “And indeed We had bestowed upon you a favour one more time.” 37 Remember when We inspired your mother with a certain inspiration 38 saying: "Put him in the box and cast it into the river. The river will cast him on to the bank, and he shall be taken up by an enemy of Mine and an enemy of his." I lavished My Love on you, and to be formed in My Sight. 39 When your sister went and said: Shall I direct you to one who will take charge of him? So We brought you back to your mother, that her eye might be cooled and she should not grieve and you killed a man, then We delivered you from the grief, and We tried you with (a severe) trying. Then you stayed for years among the people of Madyan; then you came hither as ordained, O Musa. 40 And I have attached thee to Myself. 41 Go, you and your brother, with My signs and do not slacken in My remembrance. 42 “Both of you go to Firaun; he has indeed rebelled.” 43 Speak to him gently. He may possibly take heed or may come to have fear." 44 'O our Lord' both said, 'We fear lest he may be excessive against us or become insolent' 45 He said; fear not; verily I shall be with you twain: I shall hear and see. 46 “Therefore go to him and say, ‘We are the sent ones of your Lord, therefore let the Descendants of Israel go with us, and do not trouble them; we have indeed brought to you a sign from your Lord; and peace be upon him who follows the guidance.’ 47 it has been revealed to us that punishment shall overtake him who rejects it and turns away!'" 48 [Pharaoh] said, "So who is the Lord of you two, O Moses?" 49 He said: Our Lord is He Who gave to everything its creation, then guided it (to its goal). 50 (Pharaoh) said: "What then is the condition of previous generations?" 51 Musa said: the knowledge thereof is with my Lord in the Book; my Lord erreth not, nor He forgetteth. 52 It is He who has made for you the earth as a cradle and threaded roads for you and sends down water from the sky with which We bring forth every kind of plant. 53 Eat and pasture your cattle; most surely there are signs in this for those endowed with understanding. 54
