Al-Anbyaa' 5 of 7
۞ And We verily gave Abraham of old his proper course, and We were Aware of him, 51 Recall, when he said to his father and his people: "What are these images to which you are devoutly clinging?" 52 They replied: "We found our fathers worshipping them." 53 Abraham said, "Indeed, you and your fathers have been clearly misguided." 54 They said, "Have you come to us with truth, or are you of those who jest?" 55 He said: "Nay, your Lord is the Lord of the heavens and the earth, Who created them and of that I am one of the witnesses. 56 "And by Allah, I have a plan for your idols - after ye go away and turn your backs".. 57 So he broke them to pieces, (all) but the biggest of them, that they might turn (and address themselves) to it. 58 (When they saw the idols in this state) they said: "Who has done this to our gods? Surely he is one of the wrong-doers." 59 They said: "We heard a youth talk about them. He is called Abraham." 60 They said: Then bring him (hither) before the people's eyes that they may testify. 61 'Abraham' they said, 'was it you who did this to our gods' 62 [Ibrahim (Abraham)] said: "Nay, this one, the biggest of them (idols) did it. Ask them, if they can speak!" 63 Then they turned to one another and said, "It is you yourselves who are in the wrong," 64 then they hung their heads, and said, "O Abraham! You know they cannot speak." 65 He said, "Do you, instead of God, worship things that can neither harm nor benefit you?" 66 “Disgrace be upon you and all the idols whom you worship instead of Allah; so do you not have sense?” 67 They said: "Burn him, and come to the support of your gods, if you are going to do anything." 68 Allah said, "O fire, be coolness and safety upon Abraham." 69 They sought to outwit him, but We made them the worst of losers. 70 And We rescued him and Lot (and brought them) to the land which We have blessed for (all) peoples. 71 And We gave him Ishaq and Yaqoub, a son's son, and We made (them) all good. 72 And We made them leaders to guide (the people) by Our command; and We inspired them to perform good deeds and observe their moral obligations and pay the zakat; and they obeyed Us. 73 And Lot -- to him We gave judgment and knowledge; and we delivered him from the city that had been doing deeds of corruption; they were an evil people, truly ungodly; 74 And We admitted him into Our mercy. Indeed, he was of the righteous. 75

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
