Al-Mu' minoon 4 of 6
O Ye apostles! eat the good things and work righteously; verily of that which ye work I am the Knower. 51 And lo! this your religion is one religion and I am your Lord, so keep your duty unto Me. 52 But they (who claim to follow you) have torn their unity wide asunder, piece by piece, each group delighting in [but] what they themselves possess [by way of tenets]. 53 So leave them in their error till a time. 54 Do they think that by increasing their wealth and children 55 We hasten unto them with good things (in this worldly life so that they will have no share of good things in the Hereafter)? Nay, but they perceive not. 56 Verily! Those who live in awe for fear of their Lord; 57 who believe in the verses of their Lord; 58 and those who associate naught with their Lord 59 and who give whatever they [have to] give with their hearts trembling at the thought that unto their Sustainer they must return: 60 it is they who vie with one another in doing good works, and it is they who outrun [all others] in attaining to them! 61 On no soul do We place a burden greater than it can bear: before Us is a record which clearly shows the truth: they will never be wronged. 62 But their hearts are heedless of this. Moreover, there are other deeds besides this which they do. 63 Until, when We grasp those of them who lead a luxurious life with punishment, behold! They make humble invocation with a loud voice. 64 Cry not for succor this day; surely you shall not be given help from Us. 65 My communications were indeed recited to you, but you used to turn back on your heels, 66 in arrogance, as if you were abandoning a story-teller. 67 Is it then that they do not ponder over what is said, or is it that there has come to them that which did not come to their fathers of old? 68 Or did they not recognise their Messenger and so denied him? 69 Do they say he is possessed? Rather he has brought them the truth, but most of them are averse to the truth. 70 And if the truth had been in accordance with their desires, verily, the heavens and the earth, and whosoever is therein would have been corrupted! Nay, We have brought them their reminder, but they turn away from their reminder. 71 Or do you ask of them any tribute? In that case the tribute of your Lord is better, for He is the best of providers. 72 And most surely you invite them to a right way. 73 but, behold, those who will not believe in the life to come are bound to deviate from that way. 74 ۞ And if We show mercy to them and remove the distress they have, they would persist in their inordinacy, blindly wandering on. 75 We had seized them with the punishment, but they did not bow before their Lord nor turned to Him in humility, 76 To the extent that when We opened the gate of a severe punishment for them, they thereupon lie despairingly in it. 77

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
