And it is He who produced for you hearing and vision and hearts; little are you grateful. 78 It is He who scattered you in the earth, and to Him you shall be mustered. 79 It is He who gives life, and makes to die, and to Him belongs the alternation of night and day; what, will you not understand? 80 But they say the same as the ancients said, 81 They say: When we are dead and have become (mere) dust and bones, shall we then, forsooth, be raised again? 82 Assuredly this we have been promised - we and our fathers - aforetime: naught is this but the fables of the ancients. 83 Say: "If you have knowledge, 'to whom belongs the earth' and, 'whoever is in it? '" 84 They will say: "It is Allah's!" Say: "Will you not then remember?" 85 Say: "Then who is the Lord of the seven skies? And who is the Lord of the mighty Throne?" 86 Thereupon they will say, “Such greatness is only that of Allah”; say, “So why do you not fear?” 87 Say "In Whose Hand is the sovereignty of everything (i.e. treasures of each and everything)? And He protects (all), while against Whom there is no protector, (i.e. if Allah saves anyone none can punish or harm him, and if Allah punishes or harms anyone none can save him), if you know." [Tafsir Al-Qurtubi, Vol. 12, Page 145] 88 They will surely say: "(The dominion over all things) belongs to Allah." Say: "Whence are you then deluded?" 89 We have sent them the truth and they, certainly, are liars. 90 Allah hath not betaken to Himself any son, and there is not along Him any god; else each god would have gone off with that which he had created, and one of them would have exalted himself above the others. Hallowed be Allah above that which they ascribe! 91 The Knower of the unseen and the seen, so may He be exalted above what they associate (with Him). 92
