Say: My Lord! If Thou shouldst show me that which they are promised. 93 My Lord! then place me not among the wrong-doing people. 94 And indeed, We are able to show you what We have promised them. 95 Repel evil with that which is better. We are Best-Acquainted with the things they utter. 96 Say, "Lord, I seek your protection against the strong temptations of the devils. 97 and I seek refuge with Thee, O my Sustainer, lest they come near unto me!" 98 Until, when death comes to one of them (those who join partners with Allah), he says: "My Lord! Send me back, 99 "In order that I may work righteousness in the things I neglected." - "By no means! It is but a word he says."- Before them is a Partition till the Day they are raised up. 100 Then, when the Trumpet is blown, there will be no kinship among them that Day, nor will they ask of one another. 101 Then he whose balances shall be heavy - these! they are the blissful ones. 102 But those whose balance is light, will be those who have lost their souls, in Hell will they abide. 103 The fire shall scorch their faces, and they will remain dejected in it. 104 'What, were My signs not recited to you, and you cried them lies?' 105 They will say: our Lord! our wretchedness overcame us, and we have been a people erring. 106 Our Lord, remove us from it, and if we were to return [to evil], we would indeed be wrongdoers." 107 [But] He will say: "Away with you into this [ignominy]! And speak no more unto Me! 108 There was a group of my servants among you who always prayed: Lord, forgive us and grant us mercy; You are the best of those who show mercy. 109 you made a laughingstock of them and your hostility to them caused you to forget Me, and you simply kept laughing. 110 Lo! I have rewarded them this Day for their steadfastness, so that they, and they alone, are triumphant." 111 He will say: "What number of years did ye stay on earth?" 112 They will say, "We remained a day or part of a day; ask those who enumerate." 113 He shall say, 'You have tarried but a little, did you know. 114 Did you think that We had created you only for play, and that you would never be returned to Us' 115 So exalted be Allah, the True King; no god is there but He, the Lord of the honorable dominion. 116 And whoever invokes (or worships), besides Allah, any other ilah (god), of whom he has no proof, then his reckoning is only with his Lord. Surely! Al-Kafirun (the disbelievers in Allah and in the Oneness of Allah, polytheists, pagans, idolaters, etc.) will not be successful. 117 And say: 'My Lord, forgive and have mercy, for Thou art the best of the merciful.' 118
