Blessed is He Who made constellations in the skies, and placed therein a Lamp and a Moon giving light; 61 And it is He who has made the night and the day in succession for whoever desires to remember or desires gratitude. 62 And the servants of the Beneficent Allah are they who walk on the earth in humbleness, and when the ignorant address them, they say: Peace. 63 And who spend the night prostrating and standing, for their Lord. 64 And those who say: "Our Lord! Avert from us the torment of Hell. Verily! Its torment is ever an inseparable, permanent punishment." 65 Lo! it is wretched as abode and station; 66 Those who, when they spend, are not extravagant and not niggardly, but hold a just (balance) between those (extremes); 67 who do not invoke any god but Allah nor kill a soul, which Allah has forbidden, unjustly, nor commit adultery. -He who does this shall be punished for his sin, 68 Multiplied for him is the punishment on the Day of Resurrection, and he will abide therein humiliated - 69 Excepted, however, shall be they who repent and attain to faith and do righteous deeds: for it is they whose [erstwhile] bad deeds God will transform into good ones - seeing that God is indeed much-forgiving, a dispenser of grace, 70 And he who repents and does righteousness does indeed turn to Allah with [accepted] repentance. 71 And those who will not witness vanity, but when they pass near senseless play, pass by with dignity. 72 And those who, when they are reminded of the signs of their Lord, do not fall deaf and blind upon them. 73 And those who say: "O Lord, give us comfort in our spouses and children, and make us paragons of those who follow the straight path." 74 Those will be awarded the Chamber for what they patiently endured, and they will be received therein with greetings and [words of] peace. 75 They shall abide in it forever; what an excellent abode and place of stay. 76 Say (O Muhammad, unto the disbelievers): My Lord would not concern Himself with you but for your prayer. But now ye have denied (the Truth), therefor there will be judgment. 77
