No! By the moon 32 By the night when it departs. 33 By the morning when it brighteneth. 34 Verily it is one of the greatest woes. 35 As a warning unto men, 36 Whoever of you desires to progress or lag behind. 37 Every soul shall be pledged for what it has earned, 38 Except the companions of the right, 39 in Gardens they will question 40 And (ask) of the Sinners: 41 'What thrusted you into Sakar?' 42 They will say: "We were not of those who used to offer their Salat (prayers) 43 And we have not been feeding the poor. 44 We plunged in with the plungers 45 And we used to deny the Day of Judgment, 46 Until there came to us the certainty." 47 The mediation of no mediators will avail them then. 48 If such will be the Day of Judgment, what is the matter with them? Why do they run away from guidance, 49 As though they were frightened asses 50 fleeing from a lion? 51 Rather, every person among them desires that he would be given scriptures spread about. 52 No indeed; the truth is that they have no fear of the Hereafter. 53 Yes indeed, this is an advice. 54 So whosoever will (let him read it), and receive admonition (from it)! 55 And they will not remember, except that God wills; He is worthy to be feared, -- worthy to forgive. 56
