Blessed be He who has set in heaven constellations, and has set among them a lamp, and an illuminating moon. 61 And it is He Who hath appointed the night and the day a succession, for him who desireth to consider or desireth to be grateful. 62 The true servants of the Gracious One are those who walk upon the earth with humility and when they are addressed by the ignorant ones, their response is, "Peace"; 63 And who spend the night prostrating and standing, for their Lord. 64 Who say: 'Our Lord, turn from us the punishment of Gehenna, for its punishment is the most terrible; 65 It is indeed an evil halt and an evil abode;" 66 who, when they expend, are neither prodigal nor parsimonious, but between that is a just stand; 67 And those who invoke not any other ilah (god) along with Allah, nor kill such life as Allah has forbidden, except for just cause, nor commit illegal sexual intercourse and whoever does this shall receive the punishment. 68 [but] shall have his suffering doubled on Resurrection Day: for on that [Day] he shall abide in ignominy. 69 Save him who repenteth and believeth and worketh righteous work. Then these! for them Allah shall change their vices into virtues. Verily Allah is ever Forgiving, Merciful. 70 And whoever repents and does good has truly turned to Allah with an (acceptable) conversion;- 71 those who do not testify falsely and when they come across something impious, pass it by nobly, 72 And those who, when they are admonished by the commands of Allah, fall not down thereat, deaf and blind. 73 And they who say: O our Lord! grant us in our wives and our offspring the joy of our eyes, and make us guides to those who guard (against evil). 74 Those shall be recompensed with the highest rank for their patience. There they shall receive a greeting, and peace! 75 Dwelling therein;- how beautiful an abode and place of rest! 76 (Muhammad), say (to the disbeliever) "It does not matter to my Lord whether you worship Him or not. You have rejected His guidance and your punishment is inevitable." 77
