The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ TA SIN MIM. 1 These are the Verses of the manifest Book [this Quran, which was promised by Allah in the Taurat (Torah) and the Injeel (Gospel), makes things clear]. 2 It may be that you will destroy yourself with grief because they will not believe. 3 If We please, We should send down upon them a sign from the heaven so that their necks should stoop to it. 4 Whenever a new message comes to them from the Beneficent God, they turn away from it. 5 Now they have denied (the Truth); but there will come unto them tidings of that whereat they used to scoff. 6 Have they not seen the earth, how many We caused to grow in it every generous kind? 7 Indeed in this is a sign; and most of them will not accept faith. 8 And most surely your Lord is the Mighty, the Merciful. 9
