The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Ta Sin Mim. 1 These are the verses of the Book that makes (things) clear. 2 Perhaps you consume yourself that they are not believers. 3 But if We had so willed, We could have sent down to them a sign from the heavens so that their heads would be bowed down before it in utter humility. 4 A fresh remembrance has never come to them from the Merciful, except they turn away from it. 5 Indeed they have denied, so now soon coming upon them are the tidings of what they used to scoff at. 6 Have they not seen the earth, how many We caused to grow in it every generous kind? 7 Surely, in this there is a sign yet most of them do not believe. 8 And lo! thy Lord! He is indeed the Mighty, the Merciful. 9
