The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
۞ Ta-Sin-Mim. [These letters are one of the miracles of the Quran, and none but Allah (Alone) knows their meanings.] 1 These are verses of the clear Book. 2 Belike thou shalt kill thyself with grief because they become not believers. 3 If We willed, We could send down to them from the sky a sign for which their necks would remain humbled. 4 And there cometh not unto them any fresh admonition from the Compassionate but they are wont to be therefrom backsliders. 5 For they have already denied, but there will come to them the news of that which they used to ridicule. 6 Do they not see the earth, how We grow all kinds of noble things upon it? 7 Surely in this there is a sign, yet most of them would not believe: 8 And verily thy Lord! He is the Mighty, the Merciful. 9
