۞ And We revealed to Musa, saying: Go away with My servants travelling by night, surely you will be pursued. 52 The Pharaoh sent word to all the cities saying, 53 (Who said): Lo! these indeed are but a little troop, 54 "And they are raging furiously against us; 55 we are a large and watchful force." 56 Thus did We take them away from gardens and watersprings, 57 Treasures, and every kind of honourable position; 58 even so, and We bequeathed them upon the Children of Israel. 59 But they pursued them at sunrise. 60 So when the two hosts saw each other, the companions of Musa cried out: Most surely we are being overtaken. 61 Moses replied: "By no means. My Lord is with me. He will show me the way." 62 Then We bade Moses strike the sea with his staff. And it parted, and each part was like a huge mountain. 63 Then brought We near the others to that place. 64 And We saved Musa (Moses) and all those with him. 65 then We drowned the others. 66 In this [story] behold, there is a message [unto all men,] even though most of them will not believe [in it]. 67 And lo, thy Lord! He is indeed the Mighty, the Merciful. 68
