۞ And We revealed to Musa, saying: Go away with My servants travelling by night, surely you will be pursued. 52 Then Pharaoh sent heralds to the cities (to mobilise troops) 53 [bidding them to call out his troops and to proclaim:] "Behold, these [children of Israel] are but a contemptible band; 54 And lo! they are offenders against us. 55 seeing that we are, verily, a nation united, fully prepared against danger 56 So We made them leave their gardens and springs, 57 And treasures and honorable station - 58 As such we gave it to the Children of Israel. 59 Then they followed them at the sunrise; 60 And when the two hosts came in view of each other, Moses' companions said: 'We have been reached' 61 He replied: Nay indeed! My Sustainer is with me, [and] He will guide me!" 62 We sent a revelation to Moses saying, "Strike the sea with your staff." The sea was rent asunder and each side stood high up like a huge mountain. 63 And We made the other party approach thither. 64 And We saved Musa (Moses) and all those with him. 65 Then We drowned the others. 66 Verily there is a sign in this, but most of them do not believe. 67 And verily, your Lord! He is truly the All-Mighty, the Most Merciful. 68
