۞ And We sent the divine revelation to Moosa that, “Journey along with My bondmen within the night, for you will be pursued.” 52 Then Pharaoh sent among the cities gatherers 53 (Saying): "These (Israelites) are but a small band, 54 “And indeed they have angered all of us.” 55 And lo! we are a ready host. 56 As such We expelled them from their gardens and their fountains, 57 and [deprived them of their erstwhile] station of honour!" 58 Thus we let the Israelites inherit them all. 59 Then they pursued them at sunrise. 60 And when the two hosts came in view of each other, Moses' companions said: 'We have been reached' 61 Moses said, "Certainly not. My Lord is with me and He will certainly guide me." 62 We commanded Moses: "Smite the sea with your staff." And it parted, and every parting was like a lofty mountain. 63 And We advanced thereto the pursuers. 64 and We saved Moses and all who were with him, 65 and then We caused the others to drown. 66 In this [story] behold, there is a message [unto all men,] even though most of them will not believe [in it]. 67 Your Lord is certainly Majestic and All-merciful. 68
