۞ We sent a revelation to Moses telling him to leave with our servants during the night; they would be pursued (by the Pharaoh). 52 And Pharaoh sent forth heralds to all the cities. 53 'These' they said, 'are a small band, 54 but they are indeed filled with hatred of us 55 And lo! we are a ready host. 56 So We expelled them from gardens and fountains, 57 their treasures and a noble station. 58 Even so. And We caused the Children of Isra'il to inherit them. 59 Then they followed them at the sunrise; 60 When the two groups came close to each other, the companions of Moses said, "We will be caught". 61 He replied: Nay indeed! My Sustainer is with me, [and] He will guide me!" 62 We commanded Moses: "Smite the sea with your staff." And it parted, and every parting was like a lofty mountain. 63 Then We brought near the others [Fir'aun's (Pharaoh) party] to that place. 64 and We saved Moses and all who were with him, 65 and then We caused the others to drown. 66 In this [story] behold, there is a message [unto all men,] even though most of them will not believe [in it]. 67 And indeed, your Lord - He is the Exalted in Might, the Merciful. 68
