And recount to them the story of Abraham: 69 When he said to his father and his people: "What do you worship?" 70 They said, "We worship idols, and we keep squatting in seclusion before them." 71 He said: "Do they hear you, when you call (on them)? 72 "Or do they benefit you or harm you?" 73 They said: "Nay, but we found our fathers doing thus (what we do)." 74 Said [Abraham]: "Have you, then, ever considered what it is that you have been worshipping 75 you and those ancient forebears of yours? 76 Verily they are an enemy unto me, save the Lord of the worlds. 77 who has created me and is the One who guides me, 78 And He Who gives me to eat and gives me to drink: 79 And when I sicken, then He healeth me, 80 "Who will cause me to die, and then to life (again); 81 and He who will, I hope, forgive me my faults on the Day of the Judgement. 82 My Lord! Bestow Hukman (religious knowledge, right judgement of the affairs and Prophethood) on me, and join me with the righteous; 83 "And give me proper fame among the succeeding generations." 84 "Make me one of the inheritors of the Garden of Bliss; 85 and forgive my father for he is among those who strayed, 86 And abase me not on the day when they are raised, 87 the day when neither wealth nor sons shall profit 88 [and when] only he [will be happy] who comes before God with a heart free of evil!" 89 When Paradise shall be brought near to the God-fearing 90 and Hell advanced for the perverse. 91 who will be asked, "What did you worship 92 besides God? Can they help you or even help themselves?" 93 So they will be overturned into Hellfire, they and the deviators 94 and the army of satan will all be thrown headlong into hell. 95 "They will say there in their mutual bickerings: 96 By Allah, we have indeed been in an error manifest. 97 "'When we held you as equals with the Lord of the Worlds; 98 "'And our seducers were only those who were steeped in guilt. 99 "'Now, then, we have none to intercede (for us), 100 "Nor a caring friend." 101 Would that we could have a chance to live again so that we might become believers." 102 Lo! herein is indeed a portent, yet most of them are not believers! 103 And indeed your Lord - only He is the Almighty, the Most Merciful. 104

Notes and Instructions
ColorfulQuran.com displays pages in one of four Arabic fonts. Each may appear with a one-fourth chance, adding more diversity to the already diverse colors. And the words remain unchanged forever. ColorfulQuran.com will have more beautiful fonts soon, God willing.
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
The beginning and end of every Surah mention the Surahs sent down before and after. You can click or tap on either one to go there. Using this feature in ColorfulQuran.com, you can easily read the Surahs according to the order of their revelation from The Embryo (Al-Alaq) to The Victory (An-Nasr), which is different from their positional order in the Holy Book from The Key (Al-Fatihah) to The People (An-Nas).
