The nation of Noah, belied their Messengers. 105 When their brother Noah said to them, "Will you not fear Allah? 106 "I am a trustworthy Messenger to you. 107 So fear Allah and obey me. 108 For this I ask of you no wage, for my wage falls only on the Lord of the Worlds. 109 So guard against (the punishment of) Allah and obey me. 110 ۞ They said, “Shall we believe in you, whereas the abject people are with you?” 111 He said: 'I have no knowledge of what they have done. 112 My Lord alone can bring them to account, if only you could understand, 113 And I am not one to drive away the believers. 114 I am only a clear warner." 115 They said, "Noah, if you do not desist, you will be stoned." 116 He said: 'My Lord, my nation have belied me. 117 Judge among us and save me and the believers with me". 118 We saved him and those who were with him in a fully laden Ark, 119 Then afterward We drowned the others. 120 Verily herein is a sign, yet most of them are not believers. 121 And lo, thy Lord, He is indeed the Mighty, the Merciful. 122
