The nation of Noah, belied their Messengers. 105 When their brother Noah said to them, "Will you have no fear of God? 106 I am a trustworthy messenger for you: 107 be, then, conscious of God, and pay heed unto me! 108 I ask no recompense of you for it. My reward is due from none but the Lord of all the worlds. 109 So fear Allah and obey me." 110 ۞ They answered: "Shall we place our faith in thee, even though [only] the most abject [of people] follow thee?" 111 He said: 'I have no knowledge of what they have done. 112 Lo! their reckoning is my Lord's concern, if ye but knew; 113 Hence, I shall not drive away [any of] those [who profess to be] believers; 114 I am naught but a plain warner. 115 Said they: "Indeed, if thou desist not, O Noah, thou wilt surely be stoned to death!" 116 He said, "My Lord, indeed my people have denied me. 117 hence, lay Thou wide open the truth between me and them, and save me and those of the believers who are with me!" 118 So We saved him and those with him in a laden ship. 119 Then after it, We drowned the rest. 120 Surely, in that there is a sign; yet most of them do not believe. 121 Verily Your Lord is Immensely Mighty, Ever Compassionate. 122
