▼ 51 Drivers of the Winds
Al-Dhaareyaat 3 of 3
We built the heavens by Our authority; and We are the Lord of power and expanse. 47 We have spread out the earth and how brilliantly it is spread! 48 And We created all things in pairs, so that you may ponder. 49 Hasten ye then (at once) to Allah: I am from Him a Warner to you, clear and open! 50 And set not up another god with Allah; verily I am unto you from Him a warner manifest. 51 Similarly, no messenger came to the Peoples before them, but they said (of him) in like manner, "A sorcerer, or one possessed"! 52 Have they arrived at a common understanding concerning this? No; but they are a people given to transgression. 53 So turn away thou from them, not thou art blameworthy. 54 But remind, the Reminder will benefit the believers. 55 And I did not create the jinn and mankind except to worship Me. 56 I want no sustenance from them nor do I want them to feed Me. 57 It is God Who is the Sustainer and the Lord of invincible strength. 58 And verily, for those who do wrong, there is a portion of torment like to the evil portion of torment (which came for) their likes (of old), so let them not ask Me to hasten on! 59 So woe to the unbelievers, for that day of theirs that they are promised. 60

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
