The people of Noah cried lies to the Envoys 105 When their brother Nuh said to them: Will you not guard (against evil)? 106 Surely I am a faithful apostle to you; 107 So fear Allah and obey me. 108 For this I ask of you no wage, for my wage falls only on the Lord of the Worlds. 109 So fear Allah and obey me." 110 ۞ They answered: "Shall we place our faith in thee, even though [only] the most abject [of people] follow thee?" 111 He said: I have no knowledge of that which they have been Working. 112 My Lord alone can bring them to account, if only you could understand, 113 I am certainly not one to drive away the believers. 114 'I am naught but a plain warner.' 115 They said: "If you cease not, O Nuh (Noah)! You will surely be among those stoned (to death)." 116 Noah said, "My Lord, my people have rejected me, 117 Judge among us and save me and the believers with me". 118 We saved him and those who were with him in a fully laden Ark, 119 afterwards, We drowned the rest. 120 Surely there is a Sign in this, but most of them would not believe. 121 Surely thy Lord, He is the All-mighty, the All-compassionate. 122
