The people of Noah rejected the Messengerss. 105 Recall when their brother Noah said to them: "Do you have no fear? 106 I am a trustworthy Messenger to you; 107 So fear Allah and obey me. 108 And I do not ask you for it any payment. My payment is only from the Lord of the worlds. 109 So fear God and follow me." 110 ۞ They said: Shall we believe in you while the meanest follow you? 111 He said: And what knowledge have I of what they do? 112 It is for my Lord to bring them to book, if you can understand. 113 "I am not one to drive away those who believe. 114 I am only a plain warner." 115 They said: if thou desistest not, thou shalt surely be of those stoned. 116 He said: my Lord! verily my people have belied me. 117 Therefore judge Thou between me and them with a (just) judgment, and deliver me and those who are with me of the believers. 118 And We saved him and those with him in the laden ship. 119 Then We drowned the rest (disbelievers) thereafter. 120 Lo! herein is indeed a portent, yet most of them are not believers. 121 And lo, thy Lord, He is indeed the Mighty, the Merciful. 122
