The Ant (Al-Naml)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
۞ Ta Sin! These are the verses of the Quran and the Book that makes (things) clear 1 A guidance and good tidings for the believers, 2 who establish their prayers, and pay the obligatory charity, and are certain of the Everlasting Life. 3 We have made the deeds of those who do not believe in the life to come, attractive to them and they wander about blindly. 4 It is they for whom is the worst punishment, and they will be the greatest losers in the Hereafter. 5 And verily, you (O Muhammad SAW) are receiving the Quran from the One, All-Wise, All-Knowing. 6 [Mention] when Moses said to his family, "Indeed, I have perceived a fire. I will bring you from there information or will bring you a burning torch that you may warm yourselves." 7 Then when he came unto it, he was cried unto: Thus; Blest is whosoever is in the fire and whosoever is around it; and hallowed be Allah, the Lord of the Worlds. 8 O Moses, indeed it is I - Allah, the Exalted in Might, the Wise." 9 Throw down your staff." When he saw it wriggling like a serpent he turned his back and fled without turning (to look). "O Moses," (said the voice), "be not fearful. Surely those sent as messengers do not fear in My presence, 10 "But if any have done wrong and have thereafter substituted good to take the place of evil, truly, I am Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful. 11 "Now put thy hand into thy bosom, and it will come forth white without stain (or harm): (these are) among the nine Signs (thou wilt take) to Pharaoh and his people: for they are a people rebellious in transgression." 12 Then when Our enlightening signs came to them, they said, “This is clear magic.” 13 They denied them unjustly out of pride, though their souls acknowledged them. See, how was the end of the corrupt workers! 14
