If only you could see when the sinners will stand before their Lord, heads hung low, (and say:) "O Lord, we have seen and heard. So send us back. We shall do the right, for we have come to believe with certainty." 12 And if We had willed, We could have given every soul its guidance, but the word from Me will come into effect [that] "I will surely fill Hell with jinn and people all together. 13 So taste ye the sequel, for as much as ye forgat the meeting of this your day, verily We have forgotten you. Taste the torment abiding for that which ye have been working. 14 The only people who believe in Our revelations are those who, when reminded about them, bow down in prostration and glorify their Lord with His praise without pride. ۩ 15 Their sides leave off the couches calling upon their Lord in fear and in desire, and of that wherewith We have provided them they expend. 16 No soul knoweth that which is kept hidden for them of perfect comfort as a recompense for that which they have been working. 17 Shall he, therefore, who is a believer, be like unto him who is a transgressor? They are not equal. 18 Those who accepted faith and did good deeds – for them are the Gardens of (everlasting) stay; a welcome in return for what they did. 19 And as for those who are Fasiqun (disbelievers and disobedient to Allah), their abode will be the Fire, every time they wish to get away therefrom, they will be put back thereto, and it will be said to them: "Taste you the torment of the Fire which you used to deny." 20 And We shall surely let them taste the nearer chastisement, before the greater; haply so they will return. 21 And who is a greater wrong-doer than he who is reminded of His signs, then he turneth aside therefrom? Verily unto the culprits We are going to be Avenger. 22
