3/4 Hizb 45
< random >
Noah had verily called to Us. And how gracious was He who answered (him). 75 We rescued him and his people from the greatest affliction 76 and We made his offspring the only survivors. 77 And We left (this blessing) for him among generations to come in later times: 78 "Peace upon Noah among the worlds." 79 Verily We! thus We recompense the well-doers. 80 He was one of Our believing servants. 81 Afterwards We drowned the others. 82 ۞ Abraham was of the same faith: 83 (Remember when) he came to his Lord with a pure heart; 84 and said to his father and his people: “Whom do you worship? 85 A lie-- gods besides Allah-- do you desire? 86 What, then, do you think of the Sustainer of all the worlds?" 87 Then he glanced a glance on the stars. 88 And said: "I am sick (of what you worship)!" 89 And they turned their backs and went away from him. 90 He turned to their gods and said, "Do you not eat? 91 What aileth ye that ye speak not? 92 Then he slipped unto them striking them with the right hand. 93 Thereupon the people came running to him. 94 Said he: What! do you worship what you hew out? 95 "While Allah has created you and what you make!" 96 They spoke among themselves: “Build him a pyre and then throw him into the furnace.” 97 They had contrived an evil plan against him, but We abased them all. 98 And [then] he said, "Indeed, I will go to [where I am ordered by] my Lord; He will guide me. 99 Lord, grant me a righteous son." 100 So We gave him good tidings of a forbearing boy. 101 Then, when (the son) reached (the age of) (serious) work with him, he said: "O my son! I see in vision that I offer thee in sacrifice: Now see what is thy view!" (The son) said: "O my father! Do as thou art commanded: thou will find me, if Allah so wills one practising Patience and Constancy!" 102 But as soon as the two had surrendered themselves to [what they thought to be] the will of God, and [Abraham] had laid him down on his face, 103 We called to him, saying: 'O Abraham, 104 “You have indeed made the dream come true”; and this is how We reward the virtuous. 105 for, behold, all this was indeed a trial, clear in itself. 106 Then We ransomed him with a tremendous victim. 107 and left for him among the later folk 108 Salamun (peace) be upon Ibrahim (Abraham)!" 109 Thus do We reward the good-doers. 110 Surely he was one of Our believing servants. 111 And We gave him the good news of Ishaq, a prophet among the good ones. 112 We had blessed him and Isaac. Some of their offspring were righteous and others were openly unjust to themselves. 113
