Again (of old) We bestowed Our favour on Moses and Aaron, 114 And We saved them and their people from the great distress; 115 And helped them so that they became the victors. 116 and We gave them the Clear Book, 117 And We led the twain on unto the straight path. 118 And We kept their praise among the latter generations. 119 Peace be on Musa and Haroun. 120 Thus do We reward the good-doers. 121 Indeed, they were of Our believing servants. 122 And Ilyas was most surely of the apostles. 123 He asked his people: 'Do you not fear (Allah)? 124 "Will you call upon Ba'l (a well- known idol of his nation whom they used to worship) and forsake the Best of creators, 125 Allah is your Lord and the Lord of your ancestors of yore.” 126 But they denied him, so they surely will be haled forth (to the doom) 127 excepting only [those who were] God's true servants; 128 and him We left thus to be remembered among later generations: 129 Peace be with the followers of Elias. 130 Thus do We reward the good-doers. 131 he was among Our believing servants. 132 And verily, Lout (Lot) was one of the Messengers. 133 Recall what time We delivered him and his household, all. 134 except an old woman who lingered, 135 then We destroyed the others, 136 And lo! ye verily pass by (the ruin of) them in the morning 137 and at night, will you not understand? 138
