Blessed is He Who, if He please, will give you what is better than this, gardens beneath which rivers flow, and He will give you palaces. 10 No, they belied the Hour. We have prepared for him who belied the Hour a Blaze. 11 When it sees them from a place far off, they will hear its fury and its ranging sigh. 12 And when they are flung into a narrow place thereof, chained together, they pray for destruction there. 13 (Then it will be said to them:) "Do not call for one death today, but call for many deaths." 14 Say: Is this better or the abiding garden which those who guard (against evil) are promised? That shall be a reward and a resort for them. 15 Therein abiding, they have all that they desire. It is for thy Lord a promise that must be fulfilled. 16 And on the day when He will assemble them and that which they worship instead of Allah and will say: Was it ye who misled these my slaves or did they (themselves) wander from the way? 17 They will answer: 'Exaltations to You. We should not have taken others for a guardian, but You gave them and their fathers enjoyment until they forgot Your Remembrance and they were a destroyed nation' 18 So now they belie you in that which ye said; so ye are not able to obtain diversion nor help. And whosoever of you doth wrong, him We shall make taste a great torment. 19 And all the Noble Messengers We sent before you were like this – eating food and walking in the markets; and We have made some of you a test for others; so will you, O people, patiently endure? And O dear Prophet, your Lord is All Seeing. 20
