Al-Duhaa

The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)

In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful

By the midmorning, 1 And by oath of the night when it covers, 2 Thy Lord hath not forsaken thee, nor is He displeased. 3 And the Hereafter is indeed better unto thee than the life present. 4 And your Lord is going to give you, and you will be satisfied. 5 Has He not found thee an orphan, and given thee shelter? 6 Did He not find you unaware of the Right Way, and then directed you to it? 7 Did He not find thee needy, and suffice thee? 8 Do not oppress the orphans 9 And as for the petitioner, do not repel [him]. 10 But tell of the favors of your Lord! 11
