We also favored Moses and Aaron 114 and saved them and their people from great distress. 115 And We helped them, so they were victorious. 116 And We bestowed the clear Book to both of them. 117 And guided them to the Straight Path. 118 And We left for the twain among the posterity: 119 Peace be on Moses and Aaron. 120 Verily, thus do We reward the Muhsinun (good-doers - see V. 2:112). 121 Indeed, they were of Our believing servants. 122 Surely, Elias too was among the Messengers. 123 Recall what time he said unto his people: fear ye not? 124 What! do you call upon Ba'l and forsake the best of the creators, 125 Allah, your Lord and the Lord of your fathers of yore? 126 But they belied him, so they will be among the arraigned (in Hell), 127 except the sincere worshipers of Allah. 128 and him We left thus to be remembered among later generations: 129 Peace be unto Elyasin. 130 As such We recompense the gooddoers. 131 Indeed, he was of Our believing servants. 132 And verily Lut was of the sent ones. 133 [and so,] when [We decreed the doom of his sinful town,] We saved him and his household, 134 except for an old woman who was among those that stayed behind. 135 Then We destroyed the rest. 136 Verily, you pass by them in the morning. 137 and at night.
