We also bestowed Our favour on Moses and Aaron: 114 And saved them and their people from the great distress, 115 And We helped them, so that they were the victors; 116 And We gave them the clear Scripture 117 And We guided them to the Straight Way. 118 And We let it (the beautiful praise) remain upon on both of them in the latter (generations), 119 Salamun (peace) be upon Musa (Moses) and Harun (Aaron)!" 120 Indeed, We thus reward the doers of good. 121 They were among Our believing worshipers. 122 Elijah too was one of the messengers. 123 (Call to mind) when he said to his people: “Will you not fear Allah? 124 Do you call on Ba'lan (the idol Baal) and abandon the Best Creator, 125 Allah is your Lord and the Lord of your ancestors of yore.” 126 But they cried him lies; so they will be among the arraigned, 127 But not the servants of Allah, the purified ones. 128 and We left for him among the later folk 129 Peace be unto Elias! 130 As such We recompense the gooddoers. 131 He was one of Our believing servants. 132 And verily, Lout (Lot) was one of the Messengers. 133 Wherefore We saved him and his entire family 134 Except an old woman (who was) amongst those who tarried. 135 and We destroyed the others. 136 And most surely you pass by them in the morning, 137 And at night; do you not then understand? 138
