THUS, INDEED, did We bestow Our favour upon Moses and Aaron; 114 And saved them and their people from great distress, 115 And helped them, so that they became the victors; 116 We gave them the explicit Book, 117 and guided them the straight way, 118 And We perpetuated (praise) to them among the later generations. 119 "Peace upon Moses and Aaron." 120 Thus do We reward the good-doers. 121 Surely they were both of Our believing servants. 122 So also was Elias among those sent (by Us). 123 When he said to his people, "Will you not fear Allah? 124 Do you call on Baal, and abandon the Best of creators? 125 "Allah, your Lord and Cherisher and the Lord and Cherisher of your fathers of old?" 126 They called him a liar. Thus, all of them will suffer torment 127 Except the chosen slaves of Allah. 128 And We let it (the beautiful praise) remain upon him in the latter (generations), 129 Peace be upon Elias. 130 It is thus indeed that We reward those who do good: 131 Verily, he was one of Our believing slaves. 132 Lot too was one of the Envoys; 133 (Call to mind) when We delivered him and all his kinsfolk, 134 except for an old woman who was among those that stayed behind. 135 Then We annihilated the others. 136 You pass by their desolate habitations in the morning 137 And at night; will you not then reflect? 138
