And We did certainly confer favor upon Moses and Aaron. 114 and saved them and their people from great distress. 115 And We helped them, so that they were the victors; 116 And We vouchsafed unto the twain a Book luminous. 117 and guided them the straight way, 118 And left (their remembrance) for posterity. 119 "Peace be upon Moses and Aaron!" 120 Indeed, We thus reward the doers of good. 121 They were two of Our believing servants. 122 And lo! Elias was of those sent (to warn), 123 when he spoke [thus] to his people: "Will you not remain conscious of God? 124 Would you call on Baal and leave the best of creators, 125 Allah is your Lord and the Lord of your fathers, the ancients' 126 But they belied him, so they will be among the arraigned (in Hell), 127 Except the chosen slaves of Allah. 128 And We kept his praise among the latter generations. 129 Peace be unto Elias! 130 Thus do We reward the good-doers. 131 He is indeed one of Our high ranking, firmly believing bondmen. 132 Lot was also one of the messengers. 133 We saved him and all his kinsmen, 134 except for an old woman who remained behind. 135 Then We destroyed the rest. 136 And indeed you pass over them in the morning. – 137 and by night. Will you not, then, use your reason? 138
