And certainly We conferred a favor on Musa and Haroun. 114 and We delivered both of them and their people from the great calamity. 115 And helped them, so they were victorious. 116 We granted them a Clear Book, 117 And We guided them to the Straight Way. 118 And We left for them [favorable mention] among later generations: 119 Peace be on Moses and Aaron. 120 Thus indeed do We reward those who do right. 121 They are among Our faithful devotees. 122 And indeed Ilyas is one of the Noble Messengers. 123 He said to his people, "Have you no fear [of God?] 124 What! do you call upon Ba'l and forsake the best of the creators, 125 “Allah – Who is your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers?” 126 In response they denied him, so they will surely be brought forth as captives. 127 Except the sincere and devoted Servants of Allah (among them). 128 And We left for him among the posterity: 129 Peace be upon Ilyas! 130 Verily, thus do We reward the doers of good 131 He was one of Our believing servants. 132 So also was Lut among those sent (by Us). 133 [So mention] when We saved him and his family, all, 134 except an old woman who lingered, 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 You pass by them in the morning 137 And by night: will ye not understand? 138
