And We verily gave grace unto Moses and Aaron, 114 and saved them and their people from great distress. 115 We succoured them, and they gained the upper hand (against their enemies). 116 And We gave them the explicit Scripture, 117 and guided them upon the Straight Path. 118 And left (their remembrance) for posterity. 119 "Peace and salutation to Moses and Aaron!" 120 Thus indeed do We reward those who do right. 121 Surely they were both of Our believing servants. 122 Surely, Elias too was among the Messengers. 123 Behold, he said to his people, "Will ye not fear (Allah)? 124 What! do you call upon Ba'l and forsake the best of the creators, 125 Allah, your Lord and Lord of your forefathers? 126 But they denounced him as a liar, so they will surely be arraigned (for punishment), 127 Except the chosen bondmen of Allah. 128 We preserved a good name for him among posterity. 129 Peace be with the followers of Elias. 130 Verily, thus do We reward the doers of good 131 Indeed, he was of Our believing servants. 132 AND, BEHOLD, Lot was indeed one of Our message-bearers; 133 when We delivered him and his people all together, 134 Save an old woman among the lingerers. 135 Then We destroyed the rest [i.e. the towns of Sodom at the place of the Dead Sea (now) in Palestine].
