And certainly We conferred a favor on Musa and Haroun. 114 And rescued them and their people from the great calamity. 115 And helped them so that they became the victors. 116 We granted them a Clear Book, 117 And We led the twain on unto the straight path. 118 and left for them among the later folk 119 Peace be upon Moosa and Haroon! 120 Even thus do We reward the doers of good. 121 Surely they were both of Our believing servants. 122 Elias too was one of the Envoys; 123 Recall what time he said unto his people: fear ye not? 124 "Will ye call upon Baal and forsake the Best of Creators,- 125 Allah, your Lord and the Lord of your first forefathers?" 126 But they rejected him, and they will certainly be called up (for punishment),- 127 Except the chosen creatures of God. 128 We perpetuated his praise in the later generations. 129 "Peace upon Elias." 130 Thus indeed do We reward those who do right. 131 he was among Our believing servants. 132 And lo! Lot verily was of those sent (to warn). 133 When We rescued him and his entire household. 134 save an old woman among those that tarried; 135 We then destroyed the others. 136 and, verily, [to this day] you pass by the remnants of their dwellings at morning-time 137 and at night. Do you still not understand? 138
