Again (of old) We bestowed Our favour on Moses and Aaron, 114 and saved them and their people from great distress. 115 And helped them so that they became the victors. 116 And We gave them the divine writ that made [right and wrong] distinct, 117 guided them to the right path, 118 And We kept their praise among the latter generations. 119 Peace be unto Moses and Aaron! 120 Lo! thus do We reward the good. 121 Verily the twain were of Our bondmen believing. 122 And Elias (El Yaseen) was among the Messengers. 123 When he said to his people, "Will you not fear Allah? 124 Will you invoke Baal and forsake [God,] the best of artisans 125 Allah, your Lord and the Lord of your fathers of yore? 126 And they denied him, so indeed, they will be brought [for punishment], 127 Except the bondmen of Allah sincere. 128 And We left (this blessing) for him among generations (to come) in later times: 129 Peace be upon Ilyas! 130 As such We recompense the gooddoers. 131 He was among Our believing worshipers. 132 AND, BEHOLD, Lot was indeed one of Our message-bearers; 133 When We delivered him and his followers, all-- 134 Except his wife among those who remained [with the evildoers]. 135 Then We destroyed the rest [i.e. the towns of Sodom at the place of the Dead Sea (now) in Palestine].
