We were indeed gracious to Moses and Aaron, 114 And We delivered them and their people from (their) Great Calamity; 115 We succoured them, and they gained the upper hand (against their enemies). 116 and We gave them the Manifesting Book, 117 And guided them to the Straight Path. 118 and left them thus to be remembered among later generations: 119 'Peace be upon Moses and Aaron' 120 This is how We reward those who do good: 121 Surely they were both of Our believing servants. 122 Elijah too was one of the messengers. 123 Recall what time he said unto his people: fear ye not? 124 Will you invoke Baal and forsake [God,] the best of artisans 125 Allah, your Lord and the Lord of your fathers of yore? 126 In response they denied him, so they will surely be brought forth as captives. 127 Save single-minded slaves of Allah. 128 And We left for him among the posterity: 129 Peace be on Ilyas. 130 Lo! thus do We reward the good. 131 Indeed, he was of Our believing servants. 132 Lot too was one of the Envoys; 133 When We saved him and his household, every one, 134 Except his wife among those who remained [with the evildoers]. 135 and then We utterly destroyed the others: 136 You pass by their ruins morning 137 and at night. Do you still not understand? 138
