Verily We bestowed Our favours on Moses and Aaron 114 and We saved them and their people from the awesome calamity [of bondage,] 115 And We helped them, so they were the vanquishers. 116 And We bestowed the clear Book to both of them. 117 And guided them to the Right Path; 118 and left for them among the later folk 119 Peace be with Moses and Aaron. 120 Indeed, We thus reward the doers of good. 121 Verily the twain were of Our bondmen believing. 122 AND, BEHOLD, Elijah [too] was indeed one of Our message-bearers 123 When he said unto his folk: Will ye not ward off (evil)? 124 Do you call on Baal and abandon the Best of Creators, 125 Allah, your Lord and Lord of your forefathers? 126 And they denied him, so indeed, they will be brought [for punishment], 127 But not the servants of Allah, the purified ones. 128 And We kept his praise among the latter generations. 129 Peace be unto Elias! 130 Indeed, We thus reward the doers of good. 131 for he was truly one of Our believing servants! 132 And lo! Lot verily was of those sent (to warn). 133 We saved him and all his kinsmen, 134 except for an old woman who remained behind. 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 You pass by their ruins morning 137 and by night. Will you not, then, use your reason? 138
