Say: "Truly am I a Warner: no god is there but the one Allah, Supreme and Irresistible,- 65 "The Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that is between them, the All-Mighty, the Oft-Forgiving." 66 Say: “This is a tiding of tremendous import 67 Whence ye turn away! 68 I had no knowledge of the exalted assembly [of angels] when they were disputing [the creation of Adam]. 69 'Only this has been revealed to me: that I am to give warning plainly and publicly." 70 Recall what time thy Lord said unto the angels: verily I am about to create a human being from clay; 71 after I have shaped him and breathed of My spirit (I created) into him, fall down prostrate before him' 72 So the angels prostrated - all of them entirely. 73 Not so lblis. He grew stiffnecked and became of the infidels. 74 Allah said: O Iblis! what preventeth thee from prostrating thyself before that which I have created with both my hands? Becomest thou stiff-necked, or art thou of the exalted ones? 75 Said Iblis, “I am better than him; You made me from fire, and You have created him from clay!” 76 Allah said: get thee forth therefrom; verily thou art driven away. 77 And indeed, upon you is My curse until the Day of Recompense." 78 He said: my Lord! respite me till the Day whereon they are raised up. 79 (Allah) said: "Respite then is granted thee- 80 Until the Day of the time well-known." 81 [Iblees] said, "By your might, I will surely mislead them all 82 "Except Thy Servants amongst them, sincere and purified (by Thy Grace)." 83 Said Allah, “So this is the truth; and I speak only the truth.” – 84 "That I will certainly fill Hell with thee and those that follow thee,- every one." 85 Say (O Muhammad SAW): "No wage do I ask of you for this (the Quran), nor am I one of the Mutakallifun (those who pretend and fabricate things which do not exist). 86 It, (the Quran), is nothing but a reminder to you from the Lord of the Universe. 87 And ye will come in time to know the truth thereof. 88
