Say, [Prophet], "I am only a warner. There is no god but God, the One, the All-Powerful, 65 Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that is between them, the Mighty, the Pardoning. 66 Say: It is a message of importance, 67 Whence ye turn away! 68 I had no knowledge of the Highest Chiefs when they disputed; 69 “I receive only the divine revelations, that I am purely a clear Herald of Warning.” 70 Recall what time thy Lord said unto the angels: verily I am about to create a human being from clay; 71 after I have shaped him and breathed of My spirit (I created) into him, fall down prostrate before him' 72 So all the angels prostrated, every one, without exception. 73 Not so lblis. He grew stiffnecked and became of the infidels. 74 (Allah) said: "O Iblis! What prevents thee from prostrating thyself to one whom I have created with my hands? Art thou haughty? Or art thou one of the high (and mighty) ones?" 75 He replied: “I am nobler than he. You created me from fire and created him from clay.” 76 He said: “Get out of here; surely you are accursed, 77 "And verily!, My Curse is on you till the Day of Recompense." 78 He (satan) replied: 'Respite me my Lord till the Day of Resurrection' 79 Allah said: verily, thou art of those respited. 80 till the Day the time whereof is known [only to Me]." 81 He said, "By Your Honour, I will lead all of them astray, 82 Save Thy single-minded slaves among them. 83 He said: The truth then is and the truth do I speak: 84 That I will fill Hell with you [Iblis (Satan)] and those of them (mankind) that follow you, together." 85 Say, "I do not ask you for any recompense for this, nor am I a man of false pretentions: 86 "It (this Quran) is only a Reminder for all the 'Alamin (mankind and jinns). 87 And ye shall surely come to know the truth thereof after a season. 88
