3/4 Hizb 52
< random >
We verily created man and We know what his soul whispereth to him, and We are nearer to him than his jugular vein. 16 (Remember!) that the two receivers (recording angels) receive (each human being after he or she has attained the age of puberty), one sitting on the right and one on the left (to note his or her actions). 17 Not a word he uttereth but there is with him a watcher ready. 18 And the intoxication of death will bring the truth; that is what you were trying to avoid. 19 And the trumpet is blown. This is the threatened Day. 20 And every human being will come forward with [his erstwhile] inner urges and [his] conscious mind, 21 Certainly you were heedless of it, but now We have removed from you your veil, so your sight today is sharp. 22 And his companion will say: this is that which with me is ready. 23 [Allah will say], "Throw into Hell every obstinate disbeliever, 24 "Hinderer of good, transgressor, doubter, 25 Who made [as equal] with Allah another deity; then throw him into the severe punishment." 26 ۞ His companion will say: "O Lord, I did not lead him to wickedness, but he was himself far astray." 27 He (Allah) will say: 'Do not dispute before Me. I sent you a warning beforehand. 28 "The Word changes not before Me, and I do not the least injustice to My Servants." 29
