Say: I am only a warner, and there is no god but Allah, the One, the Subduer (of all): 65 Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that lies between them, all-mighty, all-forgiving." 66 Say: It is a message of importance, 67 From which you turn away. 68 "I had no knowledge of the chiefs (angels) on high when they were disputing and discussing (about the creation of Adam). 69 It is revealed unto me only that I may be a plain warner. 70 When thy Lord said to the angels, 'See, I am creating a mortal of a clay. 71 and when I have formed him fully and breathed into him of My spirit, fall you down before him in prostration!" 72 Thereupon the angels prostrated themselves, all of them together, 73 save Iblis; he waxed proud, and was one of the unbelievers. 74 The Lord said, "Iblis, what prevented you from prostrating before what I have created with My own hands? Was it because of your pride or are you truly exalted?" 75 [Iblis (Satan)] said: "I am better than he, You created me from fire, and You created him from clay." 76 He said: Then get out of it, for surely you are driven away: 77 And lo! My curse is on thee till the Day of Judgment. 78 He (satan) replied: 'Respite me my Lord till the Day of Resurrection' 79 (Allah) said: "Respite then is granted thee- 80 Till the appointed day." 81 (Iblis) said: “By Your glory, I shall mislead them all 82 Other than the chosen ones among Your creatures." 83 The Lord said, "I swear by the Truth - and I speak the Truth - 84 "That I will certainly fill Hell with thee and those that follow thee,- every one." 85 Say: I do not ask you for any reward for it; nor am I of those who affect: 86 It is but a reminder to the worlds. 87 "And you shall certainly know the truth of it after a while. 88
