Surely those who disbelieve shall be cried out to: Certainly Allah's hatred (of you) when you were called upon to the faith and you rejected, is much greater than your hatred of yourselves. 10 They will say: "Our Lord! You have made us to die twice (i.e. we were dead in the loins of our fathers and dead after our deaths in this world), and You have given us life twice (i.e. life when we were born and life when we are Resurrected)! Now we confess our sins, then is there any way to get out (of the Fire)?" 11 “This has occurred because when Allah the One was prayed to, you used to disbelieve; and when a partner was ascribed with Him, you used to believe; so the command is only for Allah, the Supreme, the Great.” 12 It is He, Who shows you His Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.) and sends down (rain with which grows) provision for you from the sky. And none remembers but those who turn (to Allah) in obedience and in repentance (by begging His Pardon and by worshipping and obeying Him Alone and none else). 13 Wherefore call unto Allah, making religion for Him pure, though the infidels be averse. 14 Raised high above ranks (or degrees), (He is) the Lord of the Throne (of Authority): by His Command doth He send the Spirit (of inspiration) to any of His servants he pleases, that it may warn (men) of the Day of Mutual Meeting,- 15 The Day whereon they will appear: naught of them will be concealed from Allah, Whose is the dominion today? It is of Allah, the One, the Subduer. 16 On that Day every soul shall be recompensed for its earnings and on that Day none shall be wronged. The reckoning of Allah is swift. 17 Wherefore warn them thou of the Day of portending, whereon the hearts will be in the throats, choking: then will be for the wrong-doers no ardent friend nor an intercessor to be given heed to. 18 (Allah) knows of (the tricks) that deceive with the eyes, and all that the hearts (of men) conceal. 19 God decides with justice. But those they call apart from Him can not adjudge in the least. Verily God is all-hearing, all-perceiving. 20
