۞ Have they not travelled on the earth that they could see what happened to those before them? They were greater in strength than they, and have left behind them traces on the earth. Yet they were seized by God for their sins, and had none to protect them against God. 21 That was because they disbelieved their Messengers when they came to them with clear signs, and so Allah seized them. Surely, He is Strong, and Stern in retribution. 22 And verily We sent Moses with Our revelations and a clear warrant 23 To Pharaoh, Haman and Qarun; but they said, "[He is] a magician and a liar." 24 Then, when he brought them the Truth from Us, they said: "Kill the sons of those who believe with him and let their women live", but the plots of disbelievers are nothing but errors! 25 And said Firaun, “Allow me to kill Moosa and let him pray to his Lord; I fear that he will change your religion or cause chaos in the land!” 26 Moses said, "I seek protection from your and my Lord against every arrogant person who has no faith in the Day of Judgment." 27
