Lo! We verily do help Our messengers, and those who believe, in the life of the world and on the day when the witnesses arise, 51 The Day when their excuses will be of no avail to the wrongdoers, the curse shall be their lot and they will have the most evil abode. 52 And We had certainly given Moses guidance, and We caused the Children of Israel to inherit the Scripture 53 for guidance and a reminder for those of understanding. 54 Then have patience (O Muhammad). Lo! the promise of Allah is true. And ask forgiveness of thy sin, and hymn the praise of thy Lord at fall of night and in the early hours. 55 Behold, as for those who call God's messages in question without having any evidence therefore in their hearts is nothing but overweening self-conceit, which they will never be able to satisfy: seek thou, then, refuge with God - for, verily, He alone is all-hearing, all-seeing! 56 Greater indeed than the creation of man is the creation of the heavens and the earth: yet most men do not understand [what this implies]. 57 Never can the blind and the seeing be equal; nor those that believe and act righteously and those that do evil. Little do you understand. 58 The Hour is coming, no doubt of it, but most men do not believe. 59 Your Lord has said, 'Call upon Me and I will answer you. Surely those who wax too proud to do Me service shall enter Gehenna utterly abject.' 60
