Smoke (Al-Dukhaan)
59 verses, revealed in Mecca after Vanity (Al-Zukhruf) before Kneeling (Al-Jaatheyah)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
Ha Mim! 1 By the Book that makes things clear; 2 We sent it down during a Blessed Night: for We (ever) wish to warn (against Evil). 3 On that [night] was made clear, in wisdom, the distinction between all things [good and evil] 4 Amran (i.e. a Command or this Quran or the Decree of every matter) from Us. Verily, We are ever sending (the Messengers), 5 A mercy from your Lord, surely He is the Hearing, the Knowing, 6 Lord of the heavens and the earth and that between them, if you would be certain. 7 There is no god except He. He revives and causes to die. (He is) your Lord and the Lord of your fathers, the ancients. 8 Rather they are in doubt, playing. 9 Then watch thou for the Day that the sky will bring forth a kind of smoke (or mist) plainly visible, 10 Which would envelope mankind. That would be a grievous affliction. 11 Lord, remove this torment from us for we are believers". 12 How can there be an admonition unto them, when surely there came unto them an apostle manifest! 13 yet they turned away from him and said: “This is a well-tutored madman.” 14 [Still,] behold, We shall postpone this suffering for a little while, although you are bound to revert [to your evil ways: but] 15 Upon the day when We shall assault most mightily, then We shall take Our vengeance. 16 ۞ We tried Pharaoh's nation before them. A noble Messenger came to them, 17 (and said): “Deliver to me Allah's servants. I am a trustworthy Messenger to you, 18 "And exalt not (yourselves) against Allah. Truly, I have come to you with a manifest authority. 19 And lo! I have sought refuge in my Lord and your Lord lest ye stone me to death. 20 And if ye will not believe in me, then let me alone. 21 (But they were aggressive:) then he cried to his Lord: "These are indeed a people given to sin." 22 We told him, "Leave the city with My servants during the night. You will be pursued. 23 And leave the sea becalmed; they are a drowned host.' 24 How many gardens and water-springs they left behind! 25 and sown fields, fine sitting places, 26 and pleasant things in which they delighted! 27 Thus (it was), and We gave them as a heritage to another people. 28 And the heavens and the earth wept not over them, nor were they respited. 29

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
Read the entire Holy Quran in full color. Pages diversely generate their colors and shapes so that the same scheme never repeats twice. The Quran is the conclusive Final Testament of the One and Only God for all people of all colors and shapes.
