Al-Dukhaan 3 of 3
Lo, the Tree of Ez-Zakkoum 43 is food for the sinner. 44 Like murky oil, it boils within bellies 45 as the boiling of the hot water. 46 "Seize him, and forcibly drag him right to the blazing fire." 47 Then pour over his head from the torment of scalding water." 48 Saying "Taste it! Indeed you only are the most honourable, the dignified!" 49 Surely this is what you disputed about. 50 Verily the God-fearing will be in a place secure 51 among gardens and fountains, 52 Dressed in fine silk and (also) in thick silk, facing each other, 53 As such, We shall wed them to wide eyed houris (the virgins of Paradise). 54 While resting in security, they shall call for all kinds of fruit. 55 They will not taste death therein except the first death, and He will have protected them from the punishment of Hellfire 56 As a Bounty from your Lord! That will be the supreme success! 57 So have We made it easy in your tongue that they may be mindful. 58 Wait, then; they too are waiting. 59
