BUT FOR THOSE who of their Sustainer's Presence stand in fear, two gardens [of paradise are readied] 46 How many favours of your Lord will then both of you deny? -- 47 With spreading branches; 48 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 49 In each of the two Gardens are two flowing springs. 50 Which of your Lord's wonders would you deny? 51 therein of every fruit two kinds -- 52 So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? 53 Reclining upon couches lined with silk brocade, the fruit of both the gardens near to hand. 54 So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? 55 In these [gardens] will be mates of modest gaze, whom neither man nor invisible being will have touched ere then. 56 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny? 57 (In beauty) like the jacynth and the coral-stone. 58 which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 59 Is the reward of goodness aught save goodness? 60 Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain belie? 61 And beside these there shall be two Gardens. 62 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 63 Both inclining to blackness. 64 So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? 65 Wherein are two abundant springs. 66 Which favors of your Lord will you both belie? 67 In both of them are fruit and palm trees and pomegranates. 68 Which favors of your Lord will you both belie? 69 In them shall be good and pleasing. 70 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny? - 71 Houris cloistered in pavilions -- 72 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 73 No man or jinn ever touched them before. 74 (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord would you then deny? 75 Reclining on green cushions and rich carpets excellent. 76 Which favors of your Lord will you both belie? 77 Blessed be the Name of your Lord, Majestic, Splendid. 78
