Al-Dukhaan 3 of 3
The food of the Zakkum tree 43 shall be the food of the guilty sinners. 44 It is like pitch. It will fume in the belly 45 as the boiling of the hot water. 46 [And the word will be spoken:] "Seize him, [O you forces of hell,] and drag him into the midst of the blazing fire: 47 Then pour over his head from the torment of scalding water." 48 Taste this, you are a person mighty and noble! 49 This is what you doubted?" 50 [As against this] verily, the God-conscious will find themselves in a state secure, 51 In Gardens and water-springs. 52 clothed in fine silk and rich brocade, sitting face to face with one another. 53 Thus. And We will marry them to fair women with large, [beautiful] eyes. 54 There in security, they will call for every kind of fruit. 55 They will not taste death therein except the first death, and He will have protected them from the punishment of Hellfire 56 A bounty from thy Lord. That is the supreme triumph. 57 (O Prophet), We have made this Book easy in your tongue so that they may take heed. 58 Wait then; they too are waiting. 59
