To God belongs the kingdom of the heavens and the earth; on the Day when the Hour comes, those who follow falsehood will be the losers. 27 And thou shalt behold each community kneeling; each community shall be summoned to its Book. Today, ye shall be recompensed for that which ye have been working. 28 “This Book of Ours speaks against you with the truth; indeed We had been recording all what you did.” 29 Now as for those who have attained to faith and done righteous deeds, their Sustainer will admit them to His grace: that will be [their] manifest triumph! 30 As to those who disbelieved: What! were not My communications recited to you? But you were proud and you were a guilty people. 31 When it was said: 'The promise of Allah is true, and of the Hour there is no doubt' you replied: 'We do not know what the Hour is, we guess, assuming, and we are by no means certain' 32 The evil of their actions will then become clear to them. The punishment they mocked will engulf them. 33 And it shall be said: Today We forsake you as you neglected the meeting of this day of yours and your abode is the fire, and there are not for you any helpers: 34 You reached this end because you made Allah's Signs an object of jest and the life of the world deluded you.” So they shall not be taken out of the Fire nor shall they be asked to make amends (and thus please their Lord). 35 Therefore to Allah is due (all) praise, the Lord of the heavens and the Lord of the earth, the Lord of the worlds. 36 All greatness belongs to Him in the heavens and earth. He is the Almighty, the All Wise. 37
