The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)
8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
WHEN THE WORLD is shaken up by its cataclysm, 1 And when the earth throws out its burdens, 2 when man asks, "What is happening to her?"; 3 On that day the earth will declare all (the activities of the human being) which have taken place on it, 4 having been inspired by your Lord. 5 On that Day will all men come forward, cut off from one another, to be shown their [past] deeds. 6 And whoso doeth good an atom's weight will see it then, 7 And whosoever does evil equal to the weight of an atom (or a small ant), shall see it. 8
God the Almighty always says the truth.
End of Surah: The Quake (Al-Zalzalah). Sent down in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)
